Mark your calendars for March 9th-15th, as the world's premier equestrian event, EQUITANA, returns to Essen, Germany. This year's program is jam-packed with a diverse range of activities, from training and breeding to spectacular shows and an unrivaled shopping experience.
At EQUITANA, you can expect to see exciting sport competitions, top-notch performances, and an array of products and innovations from nationally and internationally renowned brands. From trailers to accessories, special feed to entire stable construction systems, you'll find it all at the World Equestrian Show.

One of the main highlights of EQUITANA is the focus on the future of breeding. On Tuesday, March 14th, well-known studs and private stations will showcase their stallions in a show presented by Marstall. Visitors will have the opportunity to see powerful moving warmbloods and typey ponies for sport, cold-blooded horses, gaited horses, and other small horse breeds, all on display and showcasing their exceptional quality.
The State Stud of North Rhine-Westphalia will also be showcasing their stallions in various program items. The warmbloods will prove themselves in the arena and at the jump, while the cold-blooded horses will also flex their muscles. Visitors can also expect to see typical stallions from renowned bloodlines and with Hanoverian, Holstein, or Westphalian brand from the Rüscher-Konermann stallion station. The Hoffrogge stallion station will also be presenting elegant athletes with impressive pedigrees and the best dispositions for dressage, jumping, and eventing. Other breeders and private stallion owners will also present outstanding Icelandic horse sires and approved sires for Haflinger and Shetland horse breeding.
The Aegidienberger, the youngest gaited horse breed, will also be celebrating their 40th anniversary at EQUITANA. The International Gaited Horse Association will focus on the breed's versatile talent and impressive development.
Dressage enthusiasts will also have plenty to look forward to, as Sunday, March 12th will see a special program item focusing on the discipline. For the first time, four prominent instructors will jointly present their respective principles and demonstrate by means of examples how they can be put into practice.
