The starting signal has been given for the third auction of the Verden Foal Spring. A selected lot of 29 highly interesting future hopes with the best bloodlines and from renowned breeding houses is up for sale. Due to the public holiday in Germany, the final bidding will start on Wednesday, May 25, at 7 pm CET.
The collection will be opened by the promising mover Rio (breeder and exhibitor: Holger Wilms GbR, Hinte), who is out of the first vintage of the celebrated premium stallion Rom. With Status Quo II (breeder: Willi Sauerland, Rhade, exhibitor: Aenne Sauerland, Rhade) the second Secret son out of the St.Pr.St. Sound of Music enters the Verden auction stage. His full brother Status Quo was auctioned for 25,000 Euros in 2019. The foals bred for jumping also convince with their sporty appearance. International jumping sires like Zirocco Blue, Tobago Z, Ogano Sitte and For Treasure VDL provide interesting offspring. The granddam of the For Treasure VDL/Diacontinus son Firestarter (breeder: Heinrich Ramsbrock, Menslage, exhibitor: Andreas Middelkampf, Badbergen) produced Looping Luna, who was internationally successful up to 1.55 metres with Germany’s Richard Vogel. The strikingly marked Shu Fu/Floris Prince daughter Spotlight (breeder and exhibitor: ZG Lührs, Osten) brings the collection to a colourful end.
The next opportunity to purchase an excellent Hannoveraner foal directly at the source in Verden is on June 9th. The last online auction of the Verden Foal Spring will take place on 23 June.
